My apologies. Being a newbie I thought a bit of humor would break the ice a bit.

The humour here can be a bit subtle at times, but we do enjoy a good repartee...!

    New from ACC

All walkers must wear ski style boots to prevent twisted or broken ankles.
All potholes must be outlined in reflective paint 50mm wide.

Bad luck Mom, as they say ,get well soon just don't let on so Maha has to continue to make the hot drinks

So....you're back on the bike then?

Sympathies - ankles hurt, big time.

Who makes that? What cc rating do they come in? Can you wheelie it?

Is it sanctioned by ACC ????

How many demerit points can you collect if you don't do it ???

If one gets the right officer and conducts the correct repartee it works regardless of CC rating as long as you DO NOT wheelie it!

    ACC need never know...

Well I'll be a pickled jellied eel! Yes indeedy Mike is a biker of CB1300 fame, he rode Maha's and rated it good enough for him. We have been going to Ruakaka for many years now, I was not dissing the camp or its management in anyway shape or form, quite the opposite infact.

Mike picked me up and drove me back to our site, Ann-marie called the ambulance and directed to us. If you are going to do something as dumb as break an ankle at least having folk around to help makes it seem not so bad.

Yeah, a lovely 650 Bandit. It will be a few weeks before I will be riding her again I am afraid. I went and had the cast changed today, still too swollen for a proper, walking one, so I cope.Got some decent drugs today, so pain is finally ok

I had a call from ACC yesterday just getting the big picture of how this is going to impact my life. I expect to get a call from my case manager today or tomorrow. It appears that ACC will actually fund my transport to work once I am fit. It will depend on whether my work will take me back on crutches (I cant see why not) and even if I can do 2 days a week, it will make the world of difference to them. Payroll is a huge job Monday/Tuesday and if I can get in there and do those 2 days it will really help them out.

Want to be my case manager?

Only if you're actually inside the case.
