NO, I cant compare the two, he is hairy but not scaley, or smelly (usually), as for skinny, not a snow balls chance

It appears my physio was right He told me this was like a bad sprain, and nothing like the previous injury to this ankle.

It appears I can "walk" , albeit slowly, completely unaided and inside the house. My ankle feels really weird in bed with no support, but it is getting better every day.

I went out today for the first time sans crutches, with a moon boot and it was OK!

Oh, I tell ya! Very tentative, and aware of my "old" bones

But all systems are GO! I am hunting for a bit of tubi-grip to give a bit of support

For when I am feeling vulnerable in the ankle department

Like first thing in the morning when I need to get to the toilet

I am sure we had some, but I cant find it

Otherwise I plan to be chasing Maha about the house anytime soon

i am going to be a good girl and take part in the ACC sponsored rider course on sunday, but with "proper" instructions, i.e. you go there, then you go there, and then you go here.....and then you are here, I can get everywhere
    but if the scenery is nice I might take the s c e n i c route....you know.

So tomorrow I could attempt to go over the bridge all by myself....again!

    Progress

    Albeit slow.

The special commode in the toilet is gone, just as well Maha kept pissing on the floor

I have packed away my crutches

The stool (got to love that word) in the bathroom has been retired

And best of all, I went for my first WALK outside today.

Even just that little walk highlighted to me just how much I have missed being able to get out and about.

I have discovered a small calf muscle starting to develop once again

I will be driving this time next week
