If ya want to cycle for fitness or training, do it on a closed circuit just like we have to if we want to speed on our bikes.
Urban cyclists I don't mind too much as its slow going anyway, but country roads are for motorists who pay to use them.

It's o.k for people to travel on our roads at 70k's under the speed limit, but if I wanted to go 70k over the limit I have to go to a track, but both me and the cyclists run the same risk of being killed. WTF
