Pity I am already some of the way up Norf, I might have to back track somewhat off the beaten trail and meet you guys somewhere.

Mark pm me some routes your planning on taking to get to Cable bay and I will fit in a plan on where to meet ya's when I leave here

One thing I would like to know is...
    Who will be tenting?
Talking to the new managers last weekend... they said they will do us a sharp price for the rooms, tenting is minimal, and an extra $10 per head the Hangi etc.
We will have a better idea of whats what in a couple of weeks once we get up there and have a look....

Their is an excellent spot to get mussels not far away if you don't mind getting wet.... I think you can see it from the unit actually.

    "Mum" does a fantastic Hangi

This will be their first "group booking" where they are. We were planning to ride up there first 3 day weekend after they take over to do a reccy, we will have to drive up now

Whichever/whatever, if you dont mind bunking in with others it will be cheap enough, of that I am certain.

I am really looking forward to it.
