and whats this about duct tape?

The clutch cable was to loose which made it really easy to change gear but made it near impossible to get it out of 1st while at a stand still. so trying to put it in nuetral meant stopping. Turning the bike off. turing the key back so i can see the nuetral light and then kicking it into nuetral.

The ductape is to prevent the panniers from wearing on the paint and possible scratching it. ive already got some scratches on the tank from the tank bag .

Duct tape it. I'll show you some stuff which gets rid of the residue really easily if you leave it on for too long.

Dont use duct tape, it will scratch the paint. get some clear tape from a motor bike shop. if you are out south I have a roll of it.

Just put some on my bike. not that another scratch would matter.

Better idea yet, electrical tape. Only really ever a temporary thing, but has zero risk of scratching

I'll have a roll of black PVC tape we use at work, it is brilliant for protecting paint, I use it on both our bikes to stop pannier chaiffage

    And so it begins

We have our first house guest

I was texting Mark earlier asking when he was arriving and commented it was a bit like Xmas

Off to get some kai underway for us, slow cooking so I dont have to stress.

    The wine is chilling nicely.

    Only one more sleep peeps

Not charging the battery, cuts out and dies whilst riding, doesn't start in neutral on side stand. Indicators are piss poor
