Two of the days away will be around that distance with the other being about 260kms. (to the cape)

Riding is bit like running...its about the the time on the road not the distance covered.

I already have planes for another....excursion..

ohhhh another place I have not been yet???? how exciting.... where we going to next....when are we going there?????

(have I told anyone today that I really like this bike riding thingie.....no, well I do)

All sounds like it's coming together nicely! I can lead the group of slightly quicker riders if you want, (it's better for my wrists at 100km/h) and by slightly quicker I mean we'll be doing 100. I'm not a fan of paying any more tax than I already do....

Yay! a fast group. I'm finally getting over the whole baby-it-through-corners-after-crash period

Obviously, coz I live oop north, I won't be joining the group but do intend popping up on Saturday after work to say g'day. With a bit of luck I will be taking delivery of a bike for my GF this weekend so their could be 2 of us popping up. It would be good for Jas to have a yarn with riders in the same boat I think. Fingers crossed she enjoys the bike

Might as well call it a rally.....

There is no 'fast' group...fast on this ride is open road speed...
I will be totally pissed if any tickets or bins occure due to dumb shit..
The roads up north are made for 'taking it all in' ..life goes by quick enough without forcing the issue..

I would hazard a guess that, 'fast' means up to 100km/h. I know my bike can't go much faster then that, and I am not rich enough to pay for repairs if I bin, so i'm not going to be riding like a squid. That probably goes for most on this ride.

Yep you'll notice I managed to avoid using the word 'fast' as fast it most definately won't be! It will just be for the slightly more confident riders to do a normal open road speed. So for those of us on restricted or full licences i'd say. Can't wait!

    On the money there.
I said ealier that the group leaders will control the speed. If anyone has issue with the group they are in, they can swap groups at any of the stops.
I trust the group leaders and I know they will do thier best to keep thier 'followers' happy..

Mr 3leaves..are you still on for this ride?..there are two of you yes?
I want to think about putting the three groups together and there are two other Scorpio's I can put you with.
    ''Group Scorpio'' if you will?...
I will be leading this group.

I agree, fast is relative and no revenue gathering will be tolerated on this ride

Shhhhh, all will be good. There wont be anything to worry about, unless we lose one of our riders off on a tangent

I will be available for whatever role you require for Sat-Sun, but I haven't answered before as I can't help on the Friday...
