would just need to scrape together 3.5k for a deposit, somehow ... its a detuned version too so mostly low and mid end grunt more suited for people stepping up.
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.

Just trying to be helpful where I can and sharing my passion for these two-wheeled contraptions.

    Next Ride

I have come up with as two day ride (Saturday/Sunday) for a date yet to set in Feb next year. Probably two months from now.
I will get the details up once I sort it.
    Maybe start a new thread...
We will stay at the Four Seasons Motor Camp in Taupo.
Taking in settlements like Whatawhata/Pirongia/Te Kuiti/Bennydale/Wakamaru along the way.

I am keen! Provided I am confident enough by then to to get to the starting point on my own. SH1 with all those mental drivers is a scary thought at the moment

There will be one or two from the last ride that wont be able to make this one.
All those on the Cape ride will get first dibs, but I can safely say that you'll be there.
We will be looking at around the same numbers as the Cape ride.
We had several Scorpio's on that ride.

Great, will make sure I get lots of open road practice in the meantime! Are you still planning a ride north over summer aswell?
