    Thumbs up Great News

The San Marino is booked for November 15th/16th, just spoke to the owner Debbie (yet to find a new manager) and she is all to happy to have us there and FEED us for $180 per head like last year.

I will start a new thread after the Prison ride and then let the booking commence..
Two nights accom/two B-B-Q tea's and Two cooked breakfasts for that $180 per head..

What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

Sounds like a great ride. Wish I could handle 300+kms in a day on my motorbike. Pain is just weakness leaving the body, right? I did do 260 or so one afternoon once. Couldn't sit down for an hour afterwards though. Maybe I should have taken the gel seat! (let's head back through the Kaimai's, yeah thats a good idea...)

I'm keen for this depending on my finances closer to the time I guess!
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

I love long rides! Drained my 350km tank twice in a day several times. Longest was Auckland to Kaikoura - summer, sunny days, long evenings, could ride on forever. V sore arse though have to stand up going thru towns

Get a sportsbike. It's better at cruising than a cruiser. Haha

And a bit of power helps too. After a trip to Dunedin and back, took me a few days to slow my mind down from traveling at Warp 9 - kids were hanging on to the handles and saying to me in the car "Slow down Dad" whoops

300 kms between the hours of 9:30am-4:30pm..we take all day, you were on the Naki ride, 80ks stop 80ks stop 80ks stop and lunch is about an hour stop..I say it all time, these rides are designed around the 'getting there when we can' policy. Why rush, the San Marino aint going anywhere.

I must add also (if I haven't already) there will be stretch on the 90 Mile Beach for those who want to do that.
