    Learner Ride to Cape Reinga (18/19/20 November)

    The L's Angels Ride to Cape Reinga

    *RIDE NOW FULL*
    1 DAY TO GO

    RIDE BRIEF AT 9:15AM
    *The group will be split into THREE groups*.
    * Five minutes intervals between each groups leaving*.

    Group Leaders Mark/Grant/Ashley
    Group TEC's Stephen/Carmel/Richard
    ACCOMMODATION

    Date ..Friday Nov' 18th to Sunday Nov' 20th.
    Friday ride to Coopers Beach = 300kms
    Saturday ride to the Cape = 260 return (a beer at Houhora, the northern most pub)
    Sunday ride home = 330kms to Auckland central (via twin bridges road)


    Leave From: Caltex Dairy Flat @ 9.30am
    First stop: 5 Min Leg Stetch at Wellsford. (55kms)
    Second stop: Gull Servo -Whangarei. (81kms)
    Lunch:
    The Beach House Paihia. (81kms) (1.5 hour stop) Great coffee served just a few paces up the road.
    Ahhhh: Coopers Beach.... (83kms)

    : Those that want to tent, feel free, you will be meters from the sand/sea..
    : A Hangi is on the menu for one of those nights and a B-B-Q the other.
    : If beer is needed I will get it once there. We have a car...
    : We will get an all in inclusive cost per person for the Accom. $150 PER PERSON incl meals

    Rode to work with my panniers on to se how they sit etc. Think just panniers and tent/sleeping bag on back of seat.

    Wont need much in the way of clothes, no body can smell me at 120kph.

    It's a learner ride. You shouldn't be going faster then 70kph
    I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

    Watched a guy on the m/way on the weekend. He was on a 90s CBR250rr and had a line of traffic behind. He was at 70. I waved as I went past.

    Buggar...........got an exam on the 19th then leavin for the Burt Munro again on the 20th or would be there........me and the other ogobs have been tryin to get up to the cape to complete the bluff/cape signpost photo thing but havent been able to co-ordinate weekends off as yet.......have a blast..........tell mom to stay on the path!

    Where exacary are you staying Maha? Might pop up for a blether depending on business. Be good to put more faces to monikers.

    I should be able to come to this, only problem is it's in the 2nd week of the final project for the year. Probably will only know for certain the week before. Definate maybe though.
