FINALLY out of hospital (albeit for a couple) of hours from a massive Staff infection, which resulted in two large holes in my chest, taking the port-a-cath out, getting a pik line and finding out hospital food is not edible, except for watery porridge, bread (if you have access to a toaster) and custard.

I wont be at taupo as am now going in for Chemo next Monday. My heart will be there willing you all on with what i hope is a Wgtn 123 finish.

I'll see you at the next Kaitoke meet with at least Biker Bee racing.

George, we won't see you till Easter, unless you manage to come to some NI rounds, but wishing you the best.
Not sure what we can send you in a care package, but sounds like some edible food won't go amiss. Can you PM me an address to send something to? Hospital address would be good.

Best wishes for next week, and not good to miss out on the GP like this, but there will be other races and we'll have to send you heaps of photos of the event.

Back out and biting (not to mention the bloating) at the bit for racing and was straight into the garage to put the bike back together.

Back to hospital for the cycle of chemo on Monday, which I am really not looking forward to. In saying that the chemo is working very well; The last CT scan showed a 50% reduction in size of the main tumor and the other two small tumors were gone and lymph nodes were all clear. Hopefully I'll be out next Thursday. Thanks again for all your support

Go George. Although I am disturbed by the image of Jimmy and others rooting for you. Been a long time since I've been to that kind of party.
