    Got the stainless headers welded up today, have about 5degrees of a u-bend and 150mm of pipe left over from my $100 stainless purchase!

    one bent in a bit and one out a bit when I welded them, so the bottom parts aren't parallel like they should be, but still work fine

    will get round to buffing up the welds at some point, but going to leave them visible rather than grinding flat and sanding smooth.

    Bought the bends, from steel and tube stainless @ 35 bucks a U-bend. They are motherfuckers to cut with a hacksaw though, harder going than steel for a start, but the stresses left in them from the bending mean which ever way you cut from, it tries to grab the blade when you get halfway through. Was pretty exhausting work really (geddit ).
