I think it's one of those optical illusion photos.

This is another one. It was used until recently to tell the testosterone level of males. Healthy males would be able to identify the subject was lying down. Those requiring hormone replacement therapy could say what she was lying on and adolescent males were asked to put the table the right way up again.
