Tankbag recommendations

I use a fully magnetic tankbag and have not had any scratches. Just be aware of what it can pick up and treat it accordingly. I give the bag base a quick sweep with the hand before attaching the magnets onto the tank. When refuelling it goes onto the seat and then straight back onto the tank.

My bag separates into 2 components, a small 70mm(?) high base part (which can be used as a single bag with top map pocket) and a top bag that will hold a pair of shoes or similar. Very good for longer travels, but the small base is what gets used most. Holds camera, drinkbottle, snacks, etc for Coro day trips.

I use a tank bag...but it goes on my wifes bike...

I used to use a thin tea towel under the magnets, to protect the paint. . They always gripped, never had the bag move around, although the tank bag also had a light strap that secured arounf the handle bar/ steering yoke.

Now, all I need are some magnets for the bag. Can't buy the right shaped ones anywhere.
