will have to retake the pics later
There was a slight gear wine on the last service
so the beast has had to have the alternator gear drive replaced
under waranty, the bad part is that the part has to come from
    japan
(lance lowe had the same problem with his race bike so probably got the only
    spare in NZ)
mabey i should get Kawasaki NZ to pull the race bike down,
have been on a training session all week so am picking up a loner
    tomomrow

Delayed muffler enjoyment - that sucks the kumara!

Hey Max, did your ZX-10 have to get its front rim replaced on the recall or was that before its time?

Had the front replaced a week after i got it
they have only had about 4 or 5 alternator
gears go though, mostly on race bikes i gather
shit just sounded like clutch noise to me.
That one gear is worth 800$ but Kawasaki are going to replace
the whole lot just to be sure.

The lone bike is honda NT650 bros at the moment
Shit just to get any power you have to thrash it in
first gear (and i have this strange urge to get off and push it sometimes)
the seat is so low i feel like i am riding an arm chair.
having said this it would make a good commuter bike.
(why put a single sided swing arm on a bike like this)

the part arrived on friday and was put in but it still has the noise
Now the whole engine has to be stripped (gutted)
I will be having a good talk to kawasaki NZ in the morning
(make sure they ship there whole engine parts over or a new engine
at leased, some guy had the same problem overseas)
may have to get a lawer involved as well
(6000 km engine strip, what the fuck)
if it take longer than 6 weeks i will be well pissed!!!
may ask for a new one

if i get a replacement bike out of them i will
paint your bloody house cover no problem
(will need to put some Kms on it again)
can i through shit at your chickens though
(they are good fun to shake out of trees at night and land with a
good thud, the buggers dont even seem to wake up)
if they put a new engine in like they did in some guys case
in portugal i hope in the alternator does not fail as fast
