"Right now they'd still be alive. They'd be getting ready for their run down Queen Street and I think they'd be having a good time. Taking them down Queen Street would have probably been the day of their lives".

    They're sheep for fuck's sake.

I know right!? Stabby stabby is all they're bred for, running them around a bit first doesn't make a fig of difference when you're going to cut their heads off.

They can still make the trip, serve em up with some roast spuds, travelling food cart thingumy, be way better for the bystanders than watching some terrified lambs run past, leaving piles of shit everywhere.

I doubt it somehow. Surely the fact that they've been spared a visit to Auckland means they've been saved from a fate worse than death itself.

Yeup .. makes them tough and makes them taste worse ...

I think the point was that if the wimping liberals who were cocnerned about he "poor wee lamywambies " had not stepped in to "protect" the lambs .. they would still be alive .. not dead ..

Fucking wimping liberal sheep lovers !!! Cause more harm than they fix ...

Of course they sent them to the works . otherwise they truck them home (lickety split) then truck them back to the works .. save money - one trip only - to the meat works ..

    Oh how terrible.....
I know as a lamb canters down Queen St it will smile, wave and thank everyone for letting it run.

Or, it will get scared into running, shit everywhere, become less tender and be sold as overpriced All Blacks edition lamb chops. Then the All Blacks will lose the world cup, because that's what they do. Ford will make another All Blacks edition Australian car and the lambs will still be dead.

In short; Fuck off whoever complained about it in the first place, jelly swilling, limp hand, Fiat driving sheep lovers.
