You may need a fluro vest (which is a good idea) to go out there, but other than that, so long as you dont get too close to the track you should be sweet.

Quasievil you lazy bugger go read the earlier thread (Meetings) Kiwirider Mag trackday. Ok, its this Saturday at Manfield and again in September sometime.
Going to be a big turn out from the sounds of it.
Doubt my front tyre will last more than 2 sessions though but can't bring myself to fork out on a replacement when there's still a bit of useful wear to be wringed out. Maybe there will be folks selling/fitting tyres there or a quick trip to Anza or somewhere close?

    You selling alarm clocks Jimbo?
Looks like an early start needed then. I'll probably aim for leaving the Shell Mana by 7.00am. Got a reasonable group gathering now with a guest Racer tagging along maybe.
Gazza- you reading this? No slacking, turn up man.

Sign on from about 8.30 through to 9.15. There will be a briefing at 9.15 for ALL riders. First session will be for those who have not been on a track before. Experts session will kick off at 10.00 followed by intermediates and the novices. 15 mins per session. Lunch 1.00pm until 1.30. A wheelie session will take place between 1.30 and 2.00 after which sessions will continue until the close at 4.30.

Guest experts on the day will be, Ray Clee, Andrew Stroud, Tony Rees and possibly Jared Love or Dean Fulton depending on Honda. Robert Taylor of Ohlins fame will also be there.

What other track days provide that sort of talent and knowledge for the punters benefit??

P.S. One other thing, it is unlikely that we will be taking entries on the day as we have just about hit our limit.
