    KOR Round 1

Well how about it!.... Another fine/sunny day for racing in Canterbury.
Another good turn out with 120+ riders signed in. Most classes very well supported (although Motards were a bit light)
44 starters in Streetstock/Prolite/Bucket..... many more and we will have to split them!
Clubmans weren,t far behind........ which is very encouraging.
1000/600 saw some battles.... with Dennis C & John R racing very strategically and trying not to show there full potential too early. Jeremy Holmes also looking fast again this year.
I only had to pick up one bike and a sidecar all day too. Cruisey day.
Thought we might have seen some North islanders down with another meeting at Levels next weekend!

    Well done all.
Im off to Europe tommorrow....... catching up with Rob & Jake Lewis at Magny Cours WSBK in 2 weeks to see Jake & Daniel fly the kiwi flag in the European Junior Cup.......yeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaa.

We'll supply you a bike in to race in the premier class (that's buckets for the ignorant) and you can have 40 other people to race against a lot of whom will kick your arse
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

mmmmmm........ judging by the turn outs so far up north... there aint many for you to race there either. Guess a move to the 'premier class' might just be the way.

I dare say the superbike title may well end up in the north..... or across the ditch. But lets see how many of the other titles do this year.
Some of the younger talent will be in superbike soon..... you you guys better make the most of the time you have left.

I hope some of the younger guy's do make the commitment and take on the Supers soon but to be honest I cant see it as they dont want to put there hands in there pocket and do the hard work to make it all happen.
Lucky us old guy's just sit back with our feet up and wait for the phone to ring with the offers each season

    What a fantastic day!

First race meet on my 600!

Also shot out to ruapuna today and checked out the car clubbies, another spectacular day, If they rented out apartments I'd buy one.
