    Scooter clusterf**** parking

Had the pleasure of parking on-road today in Wellington CBD. Arrived early and parked in free motorbike parking area. All correct at end of empy parking area. 90 degrees to kerb etc blah blah.

Went for a walk at lunch time and guess what, totally surrounded by assorted scooters parked at every conceivable angle except straight.

How hard is it to show a little consideration for fellow operators of two wheeled vehicles.

    Rant over.

To add some balance, worst parker in our spot is a rough as late 80s green cbr250, wrong angle, and miles from the wall (we get a covered bit with walls to park in ). The scootlers are actually pretty good here.

By navigate, you surely mean rev, drop the clutch lifting the front wheel slightly, to run the lot over?

If it was me, I'd simply drag it out the way... normally I wouldn't touch someone elses property, but fuck, they parked you in.

...and that right there is the only time that it's ok to move another bike when the owner hasn't given permission.

I hate scooter fuckers in town.
Just happened to be outside near my bike one day to see a fucking scooter rider pushing my handle bars across and then bend my mirror around to try to get his scooter between me and another bike I walked up to him and yelled "Oi, WTF?? are you doing" little dick looked up shit himself and fucked off...
I have a lot of little scratches and dings on the old Ducati from fucking scooter riders just jamming their POS where they don’t fit...

Mercer Street is pretty bad for this. I try and park the Guzzi between 2 motorcycles (not scooters) and ensure there's no extra room for these pr1cks to jam their crap into.

Silly me forgot this was KB , thought there might be some consideration rather than the usual scooter bashing

I think when the little geek on his rusty chinese scooter is wedging his scooter forwards into a place not quite wide enough and knocking my mirrors etc, he's not really concerned about the unity of 2 wheeled vehicles....

On the contrary, it sounds like he is going for the physical union of two 2 wheeled vehicles in particular Followed close by the unity of foot and arse

I think the trick is prevention. Not commute on the Guzzi and use the Missus's EX-4 instead.
Err...then I have to explain extra scratches on her bike....

    lose:lose...

I hate to think what the outcome of that union would look like
