Registering motorbikes - process & cost?

hi, im from the uk and i just bought a 250 bandit today that needs a bit of work which is no problem but it needs to be registered, i know its needs to be vinned as well, so i was hoping someone can tell what the process is the get it on the road. and if anybody knows the cost that would be a big help as well.

Been a few years since my last re vinning.

But I think it cost me about $380, plus had to pay to get the brakes inspected at the bike shop which cost around $60-80.

I've used both the AA and also the Coventry Group for the compliance/registration process.

Just get in touch with your local compliance guys and they'll tell you exactly what you need to do.

FYI: Any non OEM parts/mods WILL be a problem. If the bike doesn't have a VIN

    Good luck.

If its been imported you will need all the paperwork from the country of origin as well.

from what i can tell the bike looks totally standard. but there aren't any mirrors, i'm guessing it will need some?
