Canterbury Wednesday Night Ride

I was thinking about popping along and coming for a hoon, I figure cause I'm so new (still under 20 hours ever on a bike) it would be good to see how others ride, maybe get some advice, but.. I'd be riding a lil 125 with a top speed of 90.. so don't really wanna hold anyone up (unless this is the learners pace anyway) lol thoughts?

I went along on my first ride with about the same amount of experience as you, and it was really enlightening. I say go for it.

I just pretend my second WNR didn't happen

I have suggested BK, Halswell, Old TaiTap, Gebbies, round the bays to Port, thru the Tube to either the Valley or the Ferrymead, for the cruisey group. So 90k won't be too far off the pace. So come along and enjoy the ride MS.

I think the faster group was talking about going to the Hurunui Pub. If they are could they leave a few minutes earlier please.

I did a road

course today with 2drive safe. Thankyou Duncan I had an interesting and informative day. I enjoyed today.

I will have to practice a lot to to overcome forty years of habits.

For anyone is considering doing a riding course Duncan Seed has courses for most riders and skill levels.

so what sort of things did it cover and what were you doing wrong for the last 40 years that you need to change your old habits..??

Thanks G I think we all had a good time yesterday.The weather and roads were both awesome as was some of the riding -eventually! Lol. Hopefully i'll come down this WNR work permitting!

That's the good thing about wee bikes, you have to hoon.
