Gebbies end of summit road has surface repairs with some loose gravel still about, should be able to see it tho.

I think most of us can go through some loose gravel with no problems at all. There was a couple of Ks of fresh seal not far from Akaroa last week which no one seemed to have any bother with.

WNR BK out through Halswell, Old TaiTap, Gebbies, down to Teddington, round through Governors Bay, up Dyers Pass Rd to the Summit Rd, accross the top to Gebbies and around the bays to Port, thru the Tube to The Valley.

Which "The Valley" were you talking about? I went to the logical one i.e. Heatcote and no one was there.

I stopped at the Teddington Intersection and had a chat to Mr Triple, by that time you guys were long gone thought we would catch up with everyone at Heatcote pub but no one was there.

I'm glad that you liked the summit road. It is challenging. I heard a whisper that Evans to Dyers section might be reopening soon. Yipeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

I hopped back on Dyers Pass to get home, this track stops at the summit. I have yet to find a track to take me down the other side. Bridle path would still be shut I guess.
