Since we're heading north, how about we meet up in woodend in front of the quad bike repair shop place. That way if it's a bit wet we have some cover too stand under.

Since I'm in Amberley I'll meet you across the road from Z. If you leave Woodend at ten you should be here about 1015

Good ride today lads. Enjoyed the excellent road north of Cheviot upto Kaikoura. Catch you guys another time. Nice meeting ya.

I enjoyed the shorter ride, but geez it was hard leaving that nice warm cafe. Couldn't stop shivering for the first 10mins on the way back. Unfortunately I struck rain half way between rangiora and home so got a bit soggy. Good to see old and meet new riders.

Yeah for us too. On our way back to Christchurch, when we were near Waipara, it started to shower. Then it turned heavy from Amberley. I got soaked in my draggin jeans, summer leather gloves and mesh jacket

Surprisingly north of Cheviot was relatively warm.
