Wasn't too bad going out to Methven a little drizzly then it would clear up and more of the same.
Have to try it again when its and no rabbits running out across the road playing chicken with the bike.
On the way home I think my jacket picked up about 5kg's of water . I feel sorry for one rider with no rain gear

Where to next week shall we try the Loburn Route?

IDK? I think it may be a Monteiths franchise now? A shame as the old pub had real character imho and was a great sunday ride destination. Still, early days.....

I did intend to be a surprise entrent for this one...
All but got the XT back on the road... A shake down ride...
Tryed to start it on sat...
no spark , no fuel... after half a day pissing around
I finaly realised... I have had all the wireing disconected...
So I needed the red chiped key to re-programme every thing...
And the red key is in bloody Blenheim...

A drive to Blenheim this weekend.... might make it next wends...

    Technology is a wonderful thing...
    Pete

90% of all Harleys built are still on the road... The other 10% made it back home...
Ducati... Makeing riders into mechaincs since 1964...

Give me a yell if you don't make it. I should be shooting down next week.

I thought I would get lost too with the new layout of the intersections around Methven but once I knew where I was it wasn't so bad just took my time.
I did think the those watering systems with the lights flashing on them where road crews out working.

    Next WNR to Greta Valley.

BK, Moorhouse, Fitzgerald, Hills, Marshland, L off top of Marshland. First regroup on Old Main North Rd between top of Marshland and the motorway onramp. Folks from the north of town may wish to join there. Motorway north, second regroup Amberley opposite the Z service Station. L at the Waipara turnoff, thru the Weka Pass to Waikari, R in Waikari and stop for the third regroup. Skargill valley with final regroup at the Greta Valley Pub.

    You all safely now!!!!
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!
