    +1 ...
Found some neat spots over the coast a couple of weeks ago...was shame that the rivers where high and fast, but just made it more interesting crossing them. Will try and get some footage for ya's...

Absolutely! If we do the Summit road then I'll meet you at the base of the hills on Colombo, or were you thinking of going the other way?

You know that thinking is not one of my strong points Peeteey But that sounds good to me. Or we could just make it up as we go along as usual.

Much better thanks. Went to the pharmacy and got some cream - they didn't have Peeteey's cure for all 'evils', so had to do with second best. Blister is now the size of a 2 Dollar coin - next time I'll remember to keep my arm away from hot exhausts!

I'd be keen but I finish work at 6.30. Would you mind a slightly late one? Maybe leave at 7? Maybe we could explore the summit road between St Andrews and Sumner then stop off in Heathcote for a bevvie?

    Absolutely, beaut day for it!
As Shadowjack pointed out after following me, I was spending more time sightseeing than keeping my eyes on the road in some parts!
It sucks living in such a scenic place

    Question

Hi all. Name's Andy, and yes, I'm a Brit. Moved to ChCh in September after 15 years in Tokyo. Shipped my Duc over. It's in the shop getting reg'd. Any problem going to the meeting without a ride? Just want to meet some riders with experience and knowledge of NZ roads. V. much looking forward to seeing the sights.
