I turned up to my first ride last week with my bike but the weather changed so quickly I didn't have enough warm layers on so just said Hi and chatted a while. I figure it will make it easier to turn up next time.
I'm from Wirral, between Liverpool and Chester, been here 18 years. Any more we should know about?

That's exactly the sort of replies I expect from bikers. Good to see. So no. Not scared off at all (famous last words).
I was (still am, I guess) a long-term member of Tokyo Riders and Gaijin Riders... Did a lot of touring around the Kanto Plain, even as far west as Nagano. Whizzed around Fuji Speedway and Tsukuba tracks on Duc days but I ain't no racer. Besides, they don't let you race 2-up...
As for my heritage... I hail from NE London, but that means nowt since I grew up just north of Southampton, and like I said, spent the last 15 years living and working in Tokyo. Along with 25 million other office rats.
So I'll be making my way down to BK for 6pm this Wednesday.
So, tomorrow then. All good.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!
Yes I think I would be rather sad to see my old GB sold too JB, she tends to be a rather faithful old stead. An earlier owner repainted her so she is different. (A bit like the rider)
TNR/WNR tonight I was thinking of a fairly short ride, BK, Halswell, Old Taitap, Gebbies, round the bays, through the tube to the Valley for some. What say the troops???????
Weather looks good at the moment 06:30hrs. If only it will hold off for another few hours???????????
