Thanks for the ride guys, was good to get my new bike into some twistys. Them Motards certainly flick into the corners nicely. This ride happen every Wednesday?

we came back bit after 9 , found it quite good , eyes didn't have too adjust from light bright patches to shaded corners etc ,you get before sunset , rocked into little river on dusk ......for a sedate ride back into town

The one Mully is referring to I think is the GSXF wearing a bit of fluro. The ride had well split up by then, few of us at Little River decided to go to the Hilltop and back to Little River pub instead of all the way to Akaroa.
We had him behind us on the way up the hill but think he was about a minute behind when we pulled in and he continued past by mistake or design we do not know.
While we few were at the Pub later we saw him pass again heading home.

I never saw the motard or most the faster guys after leaving BK.
I ended up on back of a group of about 5 or 6 bikes as we climbed Dyres Pass and hung together thru Governers Bay, Gebbies, Little River, Hilltop and back the same way.

And yes, there is a ride every Wednesday, though if the weather is crap sometimes no one turns up.
Normally same meeting time and place but destination could be anywhere.

Right I'm with ya. Yeah the Faster group headed over Dyers, through that munted hilly road, over the and stopped for some fush n chups over at Akaroa.

4 of us left at about 8. I peeled off after catching them back up on the flats () and headed back through Halswell cause I realised my new TV show was on and she was getting a bit dark for my mirrored visor.

Good to meet you Freespaceage and others.

Here is a link to the spoof on the Rocket 3, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKEuzxC4eGc

Yes I know to rest it is a re-post, but not all have seen it before, enjoy

Glad my bike felt better to ride home than it was to ride to the Little River, those roads were a river of tar in parts.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

No more resting underneath the bike for you, with your crook knee.

How much longer are you off the road????
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!
