2 days to get down via the center and 1 to get back via the coast seems to be how its done. Although I'm thinking I might head over to the west coast and ride state highway 6 along with Haast Pass and the crown Range.

Also, my plans aren't set in stone. If anyone is looking for someone to ride down with them, send me a PM.
Sounds like a decent ride, didn't realise it was split like that, I'm definitely going to need to get a rack to hold my gear then...omg more shopping!

Ha ha! I'd love to take you up on that offer one day Flip, would be good to see you all again, and to play with Ted, but there's not much that can make me want to freeze my ass off in the middle of a frozen field with a bunch of leather clad drunk people. Unless said drunk people happened to be hot Swedish chicks ...

I think if it were closer I'd be tempted but the RSI really limits what I can do. I wonder if I should get a gig at a rally, that could be fun. Nothing beats being paid to hang out with yer mates!

Is the RSI from thinking about Swedish chicks ?

Went for a blast last week on a week day - love that stretch from sign of kiwi to gebbies (both ways) would there be another road in canterbury that could match it for the number of corners so close together ? Was bit of ice in places but adds to the fun - cracker during the week compared to bordering on waste of time during weekend - to many cages, 10 speeds ........

I still imagine the image of Robert De Niro in Meet the Fockers when I see the chest cam so it's very possible other chicks may do as well!

I wonder if it's the word for "Cool!" I remember that's what I said whenever I did anything wrong in Chemistry at school ...
