Canterbury Wednesday Night Ride

post 1 on the thread doesn't exclude "rossi-clones" - perhaps they can't take the time to read entire first post....I thought/think the WNR is for anyone who happens to turn up on the night (they even turn up without a bike sometimes!)

The fast group used to leave first and the slow group always went second.

Worked well I thought.

I have no problem with people riding fast, just do it in the right group of people. If you get stuck in the middle of a slower group, why not just ride with them? If a nice straight comes along, pass them then.

you guys need to learn that this website isnt the be all and end all of biking. and some people like to come on here and take the piss and then also enjoy riding their bikes and not hanging out with geeky kiwibikers who think they are cool..

carves up slower and newer riders.?? when did this happen buddy..?? the guy gareth descrided didnt carve up anyone before he crashed, he was at the front of the pack to start with when said "tyre" let go.

I don't think he's referring to anyone specific is he? is he? cause I'm not.

I have a story about a guy rocketing past a bunch of slower and learner riders before going for a superman into a field, don't even remember the jokers name he didn't show his face for a long time after that, and blaming the people he overtook.
