I'm down for that, really enjoying the dyers pass and conjoining roads. Sorry I couldn't make it last week, bike troubles left me tinkering till about 8

Maybe not a go, there is a sign at marleys hill which says the summit road is closed to gebbies pass from 7am to 7pm for road works for Le Race.

Have rung the number twice to try and get more info as we go up there for work, but nobody at the other end seems to know anything about it, so may be road works, may be no road works, or anything in between such as new seal and loose gravel.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

I came over Dyers tonight and I did notice a sign saying something about roadworks or closure of side road. At the point they had the sign, a side road was some several hundred feet up or down the cliff so I just thought they were barmy, maybe it meant the summit?

The Summit Road is closed 10km in from Dyers Pass Road

    Summit Road Road Stabilization
    start date Monday 11-2-2013
    expected resolution 22-2-2013

Also looks like they have given access for logging trucks up by the hang gliding area

How about Aka's then back to Little River?

Bollocks to rain and bollocks to work. *sigh*

Was really keen to explore Weston valley road some more tonight. Ah well, responsibility beckons.

Have a nice ride to those that brave the rain ...

Think you scared them all off PeeTeey with the rumor about it raining somewhere.
Had a nice ride great company and only a few damp spots on the roads around Governors Bay .

A wee mellow ride that myself and Trial Rider did last night around to Port Levy.
