Lovely ride this evening folks, cheers!

Does anyone know what happened to Yulanda? (hope I've spelled that right) The girl on the Kawasaki that stopped along the way ... Hope she's ok. Someone gave me the thumbs up sign, I figured that meant she was all good so I left. Hope that's the case.

She stopped ten or so K after the first regroup. I gathered she was not feeling well and was heading back to town.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

Ended up at BK but no one was there! Mind you it was 10pm haha.

Time permitting heading out for a ride with a friend this evening. If anyone else is at a loose end 021 298 5252. Not sure where, maybe Port Levy?

...over the years I have lived out this way, I have witnessed a lot of cars, trucks, bikes, off through the wooden barrier at the end of the lake just before the Birdlings Flat turn off, on the way back towards Chch...caught by that big old westering sun, after you come out of the shade of the hills...

Cheers for the heads up. Has never been the best road but it's come a long way in the last decade.

Just made it as far as Church Bay to pick up a couple of things from storage unfortunately in the end, and that was in the car, with a trailer...no fun at all haha

Might be down again this Wednesday to pick the bike up so hopefully will be earlier and meet a few new faces.

Looks like a bit of a washout tonight ( http://www.metservice.com/maps-radar...forecast-3-day ) ... probably trying for the Molesworth on Friday too (make a change from the coast road, anyway) so starting to pack too.

Good luck to any that do make it, ride safe...

So Gareth what was it you said about MaxF's "Funky ass curves"? - God, now I'm worried...

not sure what u r on about in regards to the weather, my weather app says sunny in north canty all evening and currently its 20degrees + whilst I sat out there (Loburn) in the garden eating a late lunch.

Happy to meet you guys at woodend atv about 7pm along with anyone else

Perhaps you could detour through greta and scargill on the way up while the light is good?

    See you soon
