    Who you calling a mare?

He doesnt say what he is looking for, maybe that would be a good idea in here
    Maybe he wants my bandit?

If you buy it early you can get it stashed in our garage (we are in Kapiti and mostly honest) and I'll even pick you up from Wellington Airport (no spare beds but a comfy couch)

You are here to have an adventure ;-)
    Thanks again
I don't mind spending the money if I get back 70-75% of what I pay. To me it's worth it compared to renting for 2 months or even bringing my bike from Canada which is just too much hassle. I need a bike that's comfy for long tour but can also rip it up too. That's why I've narrowed down to Triumph Sprint, Honda VFR or Suzuki 1250FA. I like fully faired with hard side bags.

    Hard luggage is good but...

You wont be able to rip it up much - the cops here are many and tickets flow like water (justifiably on most occasions) besides, you DO want to see the place right?

You wont be in the saddle long periods here. Its very small...

Margins in shops are very tight, getting back 75% will be tough.

Getting something too flash means being a target if you leave it parked up some place. Whats wrong with this? Its damn near 25% of a $20K bike.

Cheap as chips - get it serviced, new tyres and we will sell it for you if you want as long as you aint silly about the price.

Oh stop helping him Paul. He'll actually turn up if you keep that up!
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

That actually isn't a bad bike, not sure how I missed it. I have been on Trade Me for the last couple months looking. I have been quoted 70-75% buy back already assuming I don't bring the bike back bagged, so cost is not really an issue.

You're lucky Hawkeye, Jim's never offered to buy me a cup of coffee. Whatever happened to all our friendly Wellington KB lunches too, maybe we could have one of them when jmmk hits town?
    Cheers
