I wouldn't shell out the money for a personal plate ever..$839!...fark off. http://www.plates.co.nz/search/?lege...cle=Motorcycle
You may get two but can only use one on a bike.
Drop the price for a bike and .....maybe.

There was a RX7 driving around Wellington a few years ago with the plate "MOT SUX". That was allowed back then, around the same time my brother applied for "FN V8" which was declined as being offensive, although someone has got that plate now.

Mates wife has "NONICS" for no nickers.

I own SPOKES but its not offensive or on a car. May sell it one day. SPOKE is for sale for 15k last time I looked. But it had been for sale for a loooooong time.

The business argument doesn't stack up. Sign writing far better value.

Private plates just say "I've got too much money and not enough imagination to do something better with $900"

Yes it does. If done right. Not only is it deductible, the cost per view is pretty good.

My nieghbor (some of you may know him...)
Has XMYDIK on his cruiser- they didnt seem to have an issue issuing that

And on my mint old Austin Healey 3000 I had BOGJOB- that never should have been allowed to be fitted in some peoples opinion.
I had a 1951 Bedford Fire Engine and always wanted PYRO but it was already issued
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......

Depends on when you got them. I paid not much more than $300 when I got mine. But that was quite a few haircuts ago.

Fans of Fred Gassit cartoons might very well find my plate offensive.
Those who have seen it know what I'm talking about.

I have a personalised plate on my wagon - SLOFOX (funnily enough). I've had it for ages. Cost about $300 at the time.

I wanted to get QKSTP for the bike but decided it was way too expensive. I checked it out online and bailed when I saw the price. A few days later some lady from PP rang me and asked "Is there anything I can do to help you buy this plate?". I said "Yeah - halve the price you bunch of ripoff merchants!"

She wouldn't do it though. Cow...
