    Post FXR tappet clearance please

    Ok OK... the manual has it wrong and I never wrote down the correct clearance for the FXR tappets when setting up my motor first time round.

    New piston fitted... but I stuffed up and the shims feel out and got mixed up... bugger.

    so i need the correct measurments please..!

    manual says

    in 0.010-0.037mm
    ex 0.030-0.057mm

    mu guess is one zero to many...

    EX = 0.2 - 0.3
    In = 0.1 - 0.2

    We've been over this before I believe

    Starts with an I and ends with a T, Indonesion feral cat? no that wasn't it.

    I'm not sure why you bring out the keyboard warrior in me, I quite like you in real life.

    Does this mean the new cams are going in?

    You should see all the potential bucket racers over here, apart from the Enfield bullets (which are seriously cool) most all the bikes are under 150cc, there's a never ending supply of 100cc Hondas. The riders don't wear helmets (nor do the 3 or 4 pillions loaded on the back) and spend their days weaving in and out of insane traffic. From what I can figure there are no road rules, no one stays in lanes (or on the right side of the road) and they drive by sound i.e. if the guy behind you or in front of you is blasting the horn you're expected to get out of the way, seems to work OK as we have only had one near death experience thus far.
