Christchurch KBers who can help with accommodation advice?

Hey, I'm still traveling and today got myself well lost in Christchurch (after 7 months of everywhere else in the South Island you can imagine how big Chch is lol), I'm in Sydenham apparantly (according to the staff at McD's) anyway...

Anyone know of somewhere safe to sleep tonight and tomorrow night in my van? Will be sticking round to watch the AB's in a real bar (as opposed to some hick town bar with bubba and the guy with 3 teeth! No DMNTD, not talking about you this time )

Any help appreciated!

Addington accommodation parkwill probably have space for you to park your van, only a couple minutes from where you are.

if you are travelling around, maybe throw up a basic itinerary and you might find a few KBers offer you a safe driveway and access to a hot shower?.

Thanks, Addington place is a bit out of my budget at the moment. Might pull a sneaky and just park up some road.

It's just tonight and tomorrow night, then I'm staying at DOC sites in Arthurs Pass, then Lewis Pass, then Marlborough Sounds, then back to the North Island. 7 months in the South Island have been amazing, but I'm missing my mates hard out! And I have 3 months left to do a mean road trip round the North Island too!
