Me old bike sometimes wont start on the starter when hot. Turns over fine but wont fire. Did it last night, so I crash started it and it was fine. Cant see how its amp draw on starter as my bike has a separate stator for ignition. Ideas?

If you can bump start it... Where's the problem?!?
I found that if you cant Jump/Bump/Electric start it, THEN you have problems
Pays to check fuel level![]()
The only stupid question is a question not asked!
unrelated really, but on my SRX600 it is very very hard/impossible to start when it is inbetween cold and hot..
Some old fellas called it "being in limbo"... never got a proper explanation for why it wouldn't start though, starts fine when hot or cold, just not when warmish
Unrelated to your problem though, sorry.. haha
LOL indeed, see your down in Dunners,we are up the road a tad in Oamaru if your passing through sing out before hand and call in for a brew.Tis ok we have friends down there so the webbed feet thing doesnt offend us,in fact the dog no longer takes off when they turn up.![]()
Be the person your dog thinks you are...
It was suggested to me tonight it could be a grade to hot of plug.
Whats your idle set at?
I set mine as low as I can but sometimes when the bikes hot it idles a little under where I have it set and dies and can be a real pain to fire up, could be the cause also?
just a thought
OH I see,
Sorry misread the OP
Maybe you should just invest in a new bike haha![]()
