This is pretty lame but I miiiiight be cutting it close on av gas. I have just over 12 litres for the weekend. I'm hoping that's enough. If not, is anyone bringing any just in case? I'll bring money. Normally it would easily last 2 race meetings but I'm probably going to get a ton of track time and I think Dad wants to race on the Sunday in B grade on my bike.

Mmm I just don't like the taste of 91. I far prefer drinking av gas.

We'll tell everyone at the track tomorrow but there'll be a get together at the Parrot and Jigger (lower Hutt) tomorrow night from 7-7.30 for those who want to come along and have dinner & a few drinks... kids will be welcome. If there's going to be a few people it'd be a good idea to book...

Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

Damn gearbox is giving me grief - very stiff changing up but fine changing down. Stripped the whole thing yesterday and found nothing wrong put it back together and still the same. Guess this is not the time for my kaitoke debut shit shit shit.

Awesome first day, even with the rain.

Look at the external shift linkage. queer angle will make it sucky, should be square & like straight downish to get max movement.

Good start to the day. I wimped out when it bucketed down, but I had to leave mid arvo so it wasn't going to dry by then. Hopefully my 100 gets running better tomorrow.

Great weekend, very well run and an excellent turn out on both days. Cheers everyone for the very enjoyable racing, fun to watch, fun to be a part of. Finally had my first crash on the new frame and my first crash since breaking my wrist in January. Felt really good to crash and not have it hurt for once. I'm glad I didn't take Gavin out with the crash too. I deserved to go down, not him!

Definitely looking forward to seeing photos. Rich, you still gonna upload that race tonight? That's pretty much the whole reason why I'm still awake hahaha

Cheers to the people who let me borrow their bikes for a few laps. I rode 2 CBR150 engines at the end there (thanks Clive and Adrian) and wow they are great engines!!!

Huge thanks to Skunk, Bernie, Hels, CJ, Jason, Leigh, Nigel, Turiana and I'm sorry for forgetting others involved in making this event rock. It was a great meeting. I'm enjoying this bucket racing thing and the rivalry with my daughter sweetens things nicely. Thanks (not) to all those who talked to her about closing the door on handsome bald-men trying to get by.
Got to watch some great battles from the flag points and the car park.
Glad you enjoyed the little Honda Hamish. You meet the nicest people...
