Many drop outs/alternative types financially support a world they care little for....
so it works both ways.

Hospitals, education, roading etc have little use for herbalist vegans hiding on the farm with the internet off a solar panel

Most are in an inner city flat, shagging their flatmates, spending their dole money at the supermarket on shit soy sausages or organic feijoa wine, setting up a community garden that produces next to nothing while they lean on their spades and congratulate each other on their stand against the system

HEY! I like soy sausages and organic feijoa wine sounds yum.
Tried gardening...too much work, rather spend time with my bike. Also, I like internet and hot showers too much.

So what's the point of the test if you've got it regardless of the outcome?

Sounds like a mainstream illness to 'explain' why people might have alternative worldviews.

ADHD kids cant sit still in class, so the authorities put them on methamphetamine (ritalin)

Fact is, they are genetically fitter, have a nomadic tribes gene expression, and as such, dont fit into todays modern world.

In a less domesticated environment, many would be considered smarter, stronger and quicker, affording them an evolutionary fitness or advantage....

Today however, being able to sit still and obey masters, is becoming a more suitable disposition for successfully mating and breeding. Wilful, egocentric self focus, will be discouraged in the new world, and obeisance to a leader, will be conferred privileges by the state.

A lot of those photos of hippies you put up seemed like ADHDers, to me. But the (loner quiet not getting a lot of sex) hippie is usually the aspie. Are you getting it?

Funny that, I'm doing psych at the moment and I swear every little difference has a specific name....its madness, for sure, I understand the autism spectrum, but its almost like every little eccentricity is attributed to some disorder or illness

And yes you are a little wrong, methylphenidate is not meth, nor is it an amphetamine. It may have amphetamine-like properties (ie. an upper) but is not chemically an amphetamine

One of teh chilli peppers wrote a book and theres a funny section where two of them babysit for an ADD kid and raid his stash of ritalin. Parents come home to see these two bouncing around the living room with the stereo turned up to 11.
