I dunno - burning a whole lot of papers outside their office could be interesting

Nope - it isn't. That only works if you are a large majority. And then only for a few days.

It's not really a case of "give them absolute shit" as Quasievil wanted though.

Thats possibly true, but remember there has been so much done thus far (which I have been part of) simply "giving them shit" is ok for many, especially based on the fact all efforts so far have resulted in fuck all.

Someone in Hamiltron sets fire to a bag of shit and leaves it on his doorstep.

I'm confident this will greatly improve motorcyclist/media relations.

The problem with sending the Waikato Times letters etc is that they control what they do with them. That's why I suggested the Herald.

I did post a comment about naming a time and place when you asked about a protest initially and it's a pity MAG didn't contact the Herald, but we have lost the element of immediacy now.

Maybe contacting the guy who wrote the article directly and asking him for a retraction might get something going again. If he doesn't do anything positive then ask the Herald if they would be interested in the story and add a protest action to it as well.

They aren't. Another publication's editorial policy is the other publication's business.

Then why are all media carrying the story about the press council looking at a complaint about the PM fronting a Radio Live show for an hour last week?

If the story is big enough, they'll cover it all right.

Times published part of my letter - left out the stats I offered them. No comment about the stats - funny that...
