1984 v45 750 magna

hi all,have just got a 750 magna,got it cheap so thought why not,took it fr a ride today,is very down on power(gutless as)guy i got it from said carbs need tuning,could this be the reason its gutless,also idles rough to,any ideas,cheers.

Yup, that could easily cause lack of power etc.

Carbs and maybe valves. Doesn't hurt to check the coils and throw some new sparkplugs in, costs SFA.
