Don't think I can get my bike track worthy by saturday as I have a busy week.

I'll be riding down on Friday from Auckers .... and back on Sunday. Hopefully it'll stop raining and the Desert road is open. Seeya there !!

Um... Not if it sticks a hole in a piston 'cos it's running lean on one side it ain't. A carb rebuild I can afford. An engine rebuilds another matter...

that reminds me of the time i had a 250 twin .. 2stroke.... no air filter (went faster) did a days 1/4mileing it in Nelson

need a new piston.. only one...
took it out gave it to a mate, he welded it up polished the top, put it back in .... sold it

Maybe.
Ask one of the organisers when your there.
You may need a fluro vest (which is a good idea) to go out there, but other than that, so long as you dont get too close to the track you should be sweet.
(i want knee/elbow/toe/peg scrapage pics if you do

)
