You'll often find the zip a repairers will fit is substantualy better than the OEM one... and that zip is all that will prevent the jacket tearing open in the event of a side or front of body impact on the tarmac.... thats a cheap priced peace of mind....
But as the old saying goes re the jacket? Caveat emptor.... buy cheap? expect cheap!
