That's fantastic!
My former workmate has a 1913 Indian, which has been passed down through the family. All original, but not running unfortunately. I'd love to see that restored to its former glory.![]()

Update? Is she all go?
Approx how much did this cost to put together if you don't mind me asking?
I'd love to start one as a project - but would need to know the outlay of costs first!
don't mind you askin at all, but...it's for sale on TM so I dont really wanna reveal that. Suffice to say that it cost well into the thousand's, & a lot more than what I originally thought it would. Shipping for the wheelset, frame, tank etc from all the various sources in the US also became expensive. The only thing you can get here for them is the motor & bar. Bikeshops don't have any of this heavy duty bicycle stuff.
if you doubt that, then just go to a bikeshop & ask for a crank & bearings for a worksman ("worksman, what's a worksman?") a chain that suits the worksman sprocket ("that's not a bicycle chain, it's way too big") 14g spokes (unheard of on bicycles here, noone could provide them), even getting the white 26" tyres, & black rims (without any company logos on them) can be a mish (had to get the wheelset from Norm in California in the end) & on it went. And that's just small sample of what it took to put it all together. Took many weeks of sourcing, asking questions, organizing shipping etc etc
I guess Im ranting but if people only knew...
