Nah not really.
The fast ones :P
How much are you looking to spend?
Did you end up finding one? I ask as I have a vt250 spada I'm looking at selling soon?
I'm looking, how much are you after for the spada?
There is a low K's Spada on Trademe at the moment, don't know what the reserve is, carjam on the plate (see one of the questions) shows the K's are probably accurate...

Ad says there is a "spare bike" with it too.
Spadas are pretty small, aren't they?
ooh thats cheap! i wish i had that kinda money just sitting about![]()
No not really, bout the same as most 250s. They do/did produce a good deal more power (40hp) than most 250s (especially modern one) and the 6 speed gearbox is helpful in making use of it too.
Sure the Hyosung GT250R for example is larger but that's because it uses the full size frame with a 250 motor in it, I guess they forgot about power-to-weight ratios - the Hyo is about 28hp and 168kg, while the Spada is 40hp and 143kg.
Thanks, Sleemanj. Guess it's about the same as my old Zeal then? Or the new VTR250? If only there was a 250 like the Hyo but lighter and with more oomph.
I tried the GT250 Comet for a while and it was pretty lumbering/gutless. Had a Screaming Demon pipe on it which sounded good though...
Try one for size, they're not as roomy as a Hyosung, but they go a shit load better. They ride better than all the 40hp 4cyls because they have a flatter torque curve.
They go much better than the VTR250, they have more HP and a six speed box.
My favourite 4 stroke 250.
Very nice example, original decals too!
Not original mirrors, but who cares?
I'd own another very happily.
