    2012 Hyosungs

Just popped into Hyosung NZ on Barrys Point Road today while taking a bit of a "study break" (one which ended being nearly 2hrs of riding backroads before ending up there). Wandered in and saw the new 2012 GT250's.
Damn they look good! More street fighter looking with a whole new headlight that looks a lot like the street fighter concept from a couple of years ago. If I had my mind about me I would have taken pics but they do look rather tasty
The GT650 will be following suit from what I believe also.
It wasn't me officer, I swear!

why cant they drop some weight off them? theyre as heavy as my old, 20 year old 600 (the gt650 im talking about)

changing the frames would help alot. like maybe the trellis type frame the GTX concept had that they had a while back. the 08 650 is what, 20-30 pounds heavier thna the SV650?

So they have semi-facelifted a way out of date looking bike? Top effort.
The headlight on the naked 250 looks okay, obviously just following the trend set back with the Brutale, Z1000/750 etc, nice though.

That frame on the 250 is a very basic thing, the VT250 in '88-'89 had a lighter cast alloy unit, the NSR's had decent and light alloy frames.
Thankfully the 650 frame is prettier (and no, they're not the same, not even similar)

They are missing their best colour scheme from the 250

I see your point. That black lower fairing is better than the all white look. The all white will look dirty from road film in next to no time.
