    Bathurst, bring it on!

Looking forward to another, sadly there wont be to many more in the current format.Whilst the change is inevitable for me anyway the "great race" just wont be such a great race once things change, enjoyed the GTR/Sierra thing but wasn't sad to see them go.The 8s are Dinosaurs but what Dinosaurs they areNo doubt this weekend will be Vodafone V the rest but a little luck here and there of both kinds changes everything. As i have done for as long as i can remember Ive taken the weekend off and all is set for a great time.Any others into it?

Yes, definitely! Looking forward to it. I'm not planning anything else for the weekend.

    LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Head tells me Lowndes/Skaife for the win but (much as it pains me) I'd go apeshit if The Giz/Johnny Mac came home first. Unfortunately I don't think either of those two have the Mountain experience to take it this year.

Yeah, but it's Bathurst. 161 laps is a fucking long way and experience counts more than form.

I'd forgotten how fucking unbelievably FAST those R32 GTR's were! And the noise they made! Glad they're gone because I prefer the V8's as well but shit it was cool to see the footage again.

When i was up in Wellington selling cars a salesman mate of mine organized a huge piss up and rented the ground floor of a building directly opposite the pits at the old Wellington street race, from memory it was in 89,the GTR was lapping 5 seconds quicker than the BMW that won the race but was plauged with teething troubles so always in and out of the pits, watching its arse sink when the loud pedal was pressed when leaving the pits was awesome.Great day,$75 quid for a great view and all the piss you could drink.
