Speaking of voice recognition: Because Vlingo (what came with my Android) was developed in US it is so Americanised. The system can pick up anything American from 5th Avenue, "Map of Burger King in New York" to "How Much Wood Would A Woodchuck Chuck If A Woodchuck Could Chuck Wood?" flawlessly but for navigation around New Zealand, I find it useless because it can't pick up many towns and streets named in Maori or British.

On Stuff.co.nz I think there was a small part of iPhone article saying about Siri being not avaliable for iPhone 4S when it gets released.

If anything, voice recognition might have taken a somewhat sideways step backward.

Older phones, you had to programme the voice codes in yourself, and you were limited to a certain number of voice codes. I had a Nokia E71, and you couldn't program voice codes in, because it gave everyone in your contacts a voice code automatically. Handy you might say, but it didn't always understand you...

The Apple Store for NZ is currently down with a message saying it is being updated.

I'm wondering if pre-orders for NZ are coming sooner than expected?

Looks like they just added the 8GB iPhone 4. Forgot about that.
