    argh! i should have read this a day ago! we just had a 3 day weekend with Taranaki Anniversary today and lovely weather!
    we have nationals this coming weekend and the next... but give John a message - cahn... i'm sure he will introduce you around New Plymouth in a hurry! and we will be ready for a drink or 2 for sure!

    Hi Frank,

    Good to hear you've arrived, and I hope your jobs are setteling in well.

    You'll find there are the last two rounds (of five) of the National Motorcycling Champs (like the Dutch ONK) in the north Island this month.
    Hook up with some KBérs and go and spectate, and ensure you talk with the club officials (at Taupe for example) and some of the 600cc racers from the area. They'll all be welcoming and frienddly, i am sure.

    I am back in NZ in April. I live on the West Coast of the South Island. If you're down that way, drop us a line, and say hi.
