Gone through a couple of check points on the bike, and only ever had the sensor placed below, or through the helmet depending on the helmet I was wearing at time. Did have a request to take it off once, but that was years ago.

    Some like share.....

    Some like to complain.....

and others...they just smile and enjoy life.

Personally, I like your story....nice to know the police are checking out licences...so they bloody should.

The land has laws and if one can't, or refuses to obey them, then one should piss off to a lawless land.

I'm sick and tired of people complaining about the police....they're humans doing a job that they get ridiculed for, ok some a wanks...there's wanks everywhere...even on KB.

oops, and there I was being a complainer. Must get over myself.

I'll be sure to ask for freebies next time I'm "randomly" pulled over on my bike

Yep, they checked my rego and WOF today at their roadblock. Then asked for my license. Now that's a first. None of the car drivers they stopped had to show their license.

Agreed. But they should check everybodys license...not just motorcyclists.

Yep, and about 20 years ago the poilce could have arrested him for being a homo, as hondas are known to be gay.

You stood there and watched all 634 cars they stopped and noticed that?

I've seen HEAPS of bikers that have been stopped and no licence check - while cars have had the whole nine yards treatment.

    So it balances out.

My only problem with licence checks is mines green... It was way more fun when da cage was packed out & I'd whip out the blue or yellow.

Of course if you have a flip top helmet there's not problem.

The one time I was breath tested riding they stuck the sensor under my chin guard, easy peasy and I thought it was quiet funny really

I counted 637, think you missed a couple

The fight is getting a bit cool soo.....

IF it is a stop where the popo are stopping mixed classes of traffic then some of the other arguments hold water BUT if they are stopping only bikes then it is a different story and is real annoying when you aren't doing anything wrong.

Being stopped is an annoyance. Different people react differently otherwise the world get boring. Being stopped just because you are on a bike is extremely annoying. Often the bit that is missing is that the some of the popo don't like to explain why they stopped you, they just want obedience.

I feel left out now, I've never been pulled over on a bike! Even when I approached a random stop scene where they were pulling cars over, the cop just waved me through!!!!

Several times in cars for random rego/WoF/breath checks though.

I have been lucky in the sense I have been stopped for breath tests and never had my piece of plastic checked.

I make an effort of turning the bike off, pulling my helmet off and putting the kick stand down and staying on the bike, shows im not going to get off and cause trouble, and im not planning on doing a last second dash.

But im a respectful reckless prick.
