Sorry after using and seeing all three the Drift HD is better all round.
Crisper, clearer images, water proof without any new cases, long life battery, takes up to a 32G sd card and takes the knocks (mine got up close and personal with a tree).
The new one is even better and if size is a factor they now do a small version but it won't take the long life battery.

I have mine mounted on the helmet off road and on the mirror on road.
Someone had them on trade me but i imported mine from Canada.

If you need to compare or see what you will get check this web site out (where i got mine)

    http://www.launchhelmetcams.ca/

They have all you need, good prices and fast delivery, good after sales service.

I have the first version, HD170. It is the same as the stealth but without the 60fps.
No i wasn't pinged for GST. under $400.
I purchased an expensive 32G card as I use it for other things but the ones they sell at launch are cheaper than most here.

If i got one now it would be the stealth, I know the HD is smaller but it doesn't take the long life battery.
The only other one I would consider would be the contour GPS but that is only because of the gps, but Drift is looking at doing that in about 6 months.

The charging is done via USB cable.
I have a wall charger from my GPS so have never looked but i know you can buy the wall and car charger as a pack and at the moment there are on special.

Just went and looked at my GPS one and it is from 100-240v so i only need a plug adaptor.
FYI Canada is the same voltage and plug type as the US.
The wall charger from Launch should be fine but you can always email to check what the input voltage can be.

    GoPro HD Hero2 released today.

    11MP stills at 10FPS
    120FPS video.
Wifi Bacpac and Wifi remote to come soon.
    Better optics.
    Mic input.

    Looks like a good improvement

    GoPro

I have been using a GoPro HD for a couple of years and am pretty happy with it.
I have tried mounting it in many places using the suction cap, Helmet mounting (on chin is best) as well as ball mounts attached to the pillion grab-rail and bolts on the forks (my favourite spot for a nice and low view).
It really does needs a solid mount.

You can capture some great video footage as well as stills, although video software can help with slight vibrations picked up from the bumpy bits

Anyone got any pics of a GoPro mounted on a sporty (GSX-R600 in my case)?

I prefer to mount on the bike rather than on the helmet although I have used helmet mounts before. Can't use a stem mount since that's already taken by GSP and RD.

Tempted by the GoPro 960 - because I might be able to afford that model if I try hard. Others a little expensive for my current budget.

Not a gixxer but this way of mounting seems quite popular
