Man the commentator called it perfectly..... it was the calm before the storm for like 16 laps then the last 2 it when BOOOOOM!!!! WOW, one of the best races ever for 2nd place. (1st in the Championship)

I think Hopper should have ditched Ellison earlier and tried to pull a gap.... felt sorry for Hopper.... .006 for the championship bites.... especially after having bike problems in race 2.

Just finished watching it this morning and it couldn't have been scripted better! That last race was just building up and up until the last 3 laps when it went berserk.

With the Super Sport race being similar (1 point difference for the title), BSB makes other race series seem a bit bland.

I agree. The Poms have some pretty cool tracks too, albeit dangerous.

Just finished watching it - probably the most exciting end to a championship I have ever seen! I was kind of hoping Hopper would do it though.

What a hoot. Great to listen to Whitham and Burnicle going into spasms. My man lost but resurrected his career. 6 thousandths of a second after 26 races. Legendary.

and also that the chances are looking more likely Suzuki won't be in MotoGP next year.
It was a great series and I enjoyed following it through a racing website. Both last races for SS and SBK were crackers with titles up for grabs and main protaganists up against each other.
Is it me or does Tommy Hill come across as a bit of a dick?

Really? I thought they were sticking round again next year?

A bit yeah. But plenty of racers over the years come across as dickheads. I simply admire the skills the sick fuckers have on a bike. I do struggle to admire some though. Fogarty case in point.

If they were they would have said it at Motegi - but there was silence... not looking good.

Mmmm, that would be a shame.

Specially as they were pretty competitive considering their budget.

They were just as competitive as the Dukes who have had a shitload of money and skill thrown at them.
